Donald Miller

My friend (and “Ignite” retreat partner) Elida has a buddy from her childhood who has hit it pretty big.

Donald had an incredible story to tell and not only was it a bestseller, it’s coming out in movie theaters soon.

I can’t wait to see Blue like Jazz and will enjoy seeing it through Elida’s eyes.

  1. Love Donald Millers books. I liked Blue like Jazz a lot, but I LOVED “A Million Miles In A Thousand Years!”

I agree Scott. I think Donald’s writing is like wine…it gets better with age! Ha! His first book “Prayer and the Art of Volkswagon Maintenance” was the story of my brother-in-law, Paul, and Donald traveling together in a Volkswagon Bus across the USA. They landed at my house, and slept on our lawn for almost 3 weeks….Don knew that my sister and Paul would fall in love…they did, and have been happily married with four children for 17yrs! That first book sold out and they came up with a second edition called, “Through Painted Deserts!”….even though I’m in the book, and the story is so dear…I love his last one most!
