Kim Meeder, on the right, has created one of the most healing places on the planet. She pairs abused/rehabilitated horses with abused children to promote healing for all involved. She’s made something out of nothing (the land was a mess before they created Crystal Peaks Youth Ranch) and has flourished to heal thousands of people.

She doesn’t know it yet, but I’ll be photographing her and her horses at some point for my own book “Horse Girl”. I hope to meet the woman behind the magic and capture her lovely spirit.
